1.1 POSITION TITLE: WEIGHTBRIDGE OPERATOR (10 POSTS)
Key qualifications for the weighbridge Operator;
Holder of Full Technician Certificate (FTC), Diploma in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering;
Must be Computer literate;
Must be fluent in both written and spoken Kiswahili and English languages;
Must be a Tanzanian Citizen;
Not above 35 years of age
Duties and Responsibilities of the Weighbridge Operator
The holder of this post who reports to Shift In-charge will be responsible for:
Enforcing Road Traffic Axle Load Control by the use of Weighbridge scale devices;
Carrying out activities as described in the Road Traffic (maximum Weigh of Vehicles) Regulations, 2001 which include the following:
Weighing Motor Vehicles Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) > 3.500kg plying on our pub!’ Roads,
Imposing road damage fees on the spot for overloaded motor vehicles;
Measuring physical dimensions of motor vehicle or any load being carried o, he vehicle for determining compliance or non- compliance with vehicle dimension limits by the transporter for provision of relevant advice;
Recording all necessary particulars regarding the motor vehicle being weighed
Observing good customer care, dignity and integrity;
Reporting all matters of the respective shift to the Shift In-charge;
Performing other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the She-charge / Regional Manager.

1.2 POSITION TITLE: WEIGHBRIDGE CASHIER (2 POSTS)
Key qualifications;
Education Qualification is a Hold er of Diploma in Accountancy;
Must be Computer literate (at least Advanced Certificate in Computer Applications from a recognized institution);
Must be fluent in both written and spoken Kiswahili and English languages;
Must be a Tanzanian Citizen;
Age limit is not above 35 years.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Weighbridge Cashier should observe good customer care, dignity and integrity to carrying out all cash activities at the weighbridge as described in the road traffic (Maximum Weigh of Vehicles) Regulations, 2001 including the following duties:-
Collecting and banking all weighbridge charges (fees) according to weighbridge report form;
Seeking current USD exchange rates issued by Bank of Tanzania for case of Imposing charges that are equivalent to Tanzania Shilling and keep exchange rate records;
Timely filling all necessary records timely and keep register area neat;
Reporting all maters to the shift in-charge;
Undertake bank reconciliation;
Performing other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the shift in charge and/or Regional Manager.

1.3 POSITION TITLE: OFFICE ASSISTANT (2 POSTS)
Key qualifications for the Office Assistant
Holder of a Form IV Certificate;
Must be fluent in Kiswahili and preferably be able to communicate in English;
Must be a Tanzanian Citizen;
Not above 35 years of age.
Duties and Responsible of the Office Assistant
Cleaning offices, washrooms and office premises;
Preparing and serving tea, coffee and refreshments;
Moving files and documents as directed;
Undertaking photocopying/ or binding of documents as directed;
Dispatching letters or parcels;
Observing good customer care, dignity and integrity;
Reporting all matters to the Shift In-charge;
Performing such other related duties as may be assigned by the senior staff

VACANCIES AT TANZANIA NATIONAL ROADS AGENCY (TANROADS)
1.4 POSITION TITLE: DRIVER (8 POSTS)
Key qualifications for the Drier;
A National Form IV certificate;
A valid Driving license issued by relevant authority
An experience of at least 3 years;
Holder of Advanced Driving Certificates from recognized Institution is an added advantage preferable from National Institute of Transport (NIT).
A Trade Test Grade III in Motor Vehicle Mechanics will be added advantage;
Fluent in both English and Swahili language;
Age Limit between: 25 – 40 years
Duties and Responsibilities;
Drives Agency motor vehicle;
Maintains the vehicle logbook;
Observe motor vehicle services;
Maintain safety and cleanliness of the motor vehicle;
Delivers and collects mail and goods;
Perform such other related duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor;
Must be Tanzania Citizen.

1.5 POSITION TITLE: LABORATORY ATTENDANT (3 POSTS)
Key qualifications;
Education Qualification is a Holder of Ordinary Secondary Education with experience of material laboratory operations.
Must be fluent in English and Kiswahili language both in writing and speaking;
Must be a Tanzanian Citizen;
Age limit is, not above 35 years;
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assists with in situ testing and site sampling
Assists in the conducting of laboratory tests
Cleans and maintains laboratory equipment and premises
Performs such other related duties as may be assigned by the Laboratory Technician from time to time.
