Billing Administrator: Application Support
The role of the Billing Application Support Administrator is to assist the Billing Administration Manager in the following areas:-
  • Billing Administration Systems Administration & Support
  • TAP Files Administration
  • Bill Run & Bill Printing
  • Subscriber Profiles Reconciliation
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Billing Administration Systems Administration & Support
  • Administration of the Post-paid Billing System.
  • Administration of Subscriber Provisioning System
  • Administration of Electronic Registration System.
TAP Files Administration
  • Checking the completeness of TAP files collected & distributed
  • Checking the processing of TAPOUT & TAPIN files
  • Checking the accuracy of TAP rates
  • Liaise with clearing house on all issues relating to TAP files
Bill Run & Bill Printing
  • Verifying the accuracy of data before Bill Run.
  • Perform Bill Run and posting to financial systems.
  • Confirming the accuracy of the billed posted amount.
  • Checking invoice/statement/Itemised bill layout.
  • Printing and delivering the bills as per their respective channels
Subscriber Profiles Reconciliation
  • Subscriber Profile Reconciliation between the various billing systems to ensure the subscriber profiles are matching across all systems
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • A degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • GSM and Telecommunication Experience
  • Relational Database Management Systems
  • 1 year experience in Billing Application Systems
