Job Description

• Drive project, and project affiliated personnel to project specific location, and throughout the project implementation area for project activities including official health facilities field visits.
• Transport project equipment, materials, supplies and documents to the project areas’ health facilities
• Maintain up-to-date record keeping systems for vehicle issues including fuel, mileage, and trip in the logbook
• Maintain project vehicle condition including keeping accurate records, and following a schedule of routine maintenance, repairs and cleaning.
• Ensure the readiness of the vehicle for transport service by checking oil, water, fuel, and tires, maps, and conducting safety and security inspection prior to driving.
• Observe all organization vehicle utilization policies, and country traffic laws.
• Ensure that assigned vehicle is completely equipped with a First Aid Kit, spare tire, flashlight, battery, vehicle jack, wheel brace and tool kit (spanner wrench, tire removers, patch kit etc).
• To prepare and ensure safety and proper parking from outstations and field sites.
• Undertaking any other related duties as assigned by GNTZ-SAO supervisor.
